Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. The people of Sunder block of Shakarpur, who were struggling with the problem of sewer overflow for many days, finally got relief on Thursday. Taking cognizance of Dainik Jagran's news, Jal Board employees cleaned the place. After this people expressed gratitude to Dainik Jagran.
Seeing the seriousness of the problem, Dainik Jagran had prominently published the problem here in its Tuesday issue under its campaign Jagran Aapke Saath. After which the administration lost its sleep. On Thursday morning, Jal Board started the work of sewer cleaning by installing cleaning machine in Sunder Block.
By afternoon the streets of Sundar Block were freed from the problem of sewer overflow. After getting relief from the problem, the local people appreciated the efforts of Dainik Jagran and said that Jagran became the voice of our people. Due to which we have got relief from the problem.
Complaints about the problem of sewer overflow in Shakarpur were coming for many days. Was asked to talk to the water board and solve the problem. Dainik Jagran's initiative towards liberating people from the problem is commendable.
