State Bureau, Jagran, Kolkata. BJP has intensified its preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in Bengal to be held after a few months. The series of visits of top party leaders is now going to intensify with the aim of change of power in the state.

In this sequence, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public meeting in Taherpur (Ranaghat) of Nadia district on Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a two-day visit to Bengal at the end of the year.

According to state BJP sources, if everything goes well, the Home Minister will visit Kolkata on December 29 and 30. It was told that during this visit, Shah will hold organizational meetings with the state BJP leaders and review the election preparations, especially the strength and organizational coordination at the booth level.

At the same time, the Prime Minister's next stop in the first week of the new year will be North Bengal. Starting from Saturday, the PM has visited Bengal five times so far this year.

Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat from North Bengal reached Kolkata on a two-day visit.
