Blood Soaked Body Found In Fields In Rajapur, Kapurthala, Fellow Employee Accused Of Murder

Jagran correspondent, Kapurthala. There is news of a blood-soaked body of a young man being found in the fields near village Rajapur late Saturday evening. It is being told that the said youth was a resident of Kathua area of ​​J&K and used to work as a laborer in a factory in Kapurthala. This young man was missing since 31st December.

After receiving information about the incident, Sadar police station reached the spot, took the body into custody and kept it in the civil hospital mortuary for post-mortem and registered an FIR against an accused and started investigation. The youth has been identified as Kuldeep Kumar (35 years), son of Yograj, resident of Kathua, J&K.

The father of the deceased, Yograj resident GSS Sagni Bilawal Kathua J&K, said that his son Kuldeep Kumar had come to Kapurthala for 10-15 days to work as a laborer in BD Agro Food village Rajapur. He had also talked to Kuldeep Kumar on phone on 30th December, but his phone was switched off since 31st December.

After which, on January 1, when he reached BD Agro Food Rajapur along with his younger brother Dayaram and other villagers, he met the owner Puneet Gupta and found out that Kuldeep Kumar had gone somewhere since the night of 31 December. About which it was found that on 31st December, Kuldeep Kumar had an altercation with one of his friends, Singh, son of Pesharam, over some issue and since the same night, Kuldeep Kumar is missing.

Complainant Yograj told that when he along with his relatives was searching for his son near the factory, a bloodied body was found in the fields near Rajapur, which was that of Kuldeep Kumar. DSP Sub Division Sheetal Singh said that Sadar police station, acting on the statement of the deceased's father Yograj, has started further action by registering an FIR under the section of murder against the accused Singh, son of Pesharam.
