Jagran correspondent, Lucknow. The movement of administration and security squad suddenly intensified at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on Sunday morning. All eyes were on the landing ground, at 9:15 the plane going from Delhi to Bagdogra made an emergency landing.
According to airport sources, after receiving information about the presence of a bomb in the plane, an order was received from Delhi Control Room to land the plane in Lucknow. After six hours of intensive search, the information turned into a rumor and the plane left for the destination at 3:10 pm with 227 passengers and crew members.
In the bathroom of the Indigo flight going from Delhi to Bagdogra, someone had written and pasted the tissue paper saying that there was a bomb. The passenger informed the crew team about this. The plane was immediately landed at Lucknow airport.
Within a short time, bomb disposal squad, fire brigade team, medical team and other security agencies reached the spot and the plane was surrounded. When the passengers on board the plane came to know about this, they got scared.
After making an emergency landing at Lucknow airport, the bomb disposal squad safely brought down the passengers and started an intensive search inside the plane. Officials from other security agencies also remained busy in the investigation.
Airport sources said that in the bathroom of the plane, someone had written and pasted the tissue paper saying that there was a bomb. When a passenger who reached the bathroom noticed it, it came to light and DGCA was immediately informed.

It was decided to make an emergency landing of the aircraft at the nearest airport. That is why the ATC of Lucknow Airport was contacted and permission for emergency landing was sought. The plane landed safely at the airport.
During this time, a total of 237 passengers including the crew members on board were also screened and examined thoroughly. Nothing was found in the plane after six hours of investigation. A case has been registered against unknown person in Sarojini Nagar police station on behalf of Indigo Airlines security officer Vipin. The police team is investigating as to who committed this act.
