Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) conducted the Intermediate (12th) board examinations from 2 February to 13 February 2026 at the designated examination centers in the state. According to reports, about 13.18 lakh students have appeared for the 12th board examinations. Bihar Board releases the result first across the country after the completion of the examination. In such a situation, there is a question in the minds of the students that when and where will the result of this year be declared.

Result may be released on this date next month

If we look at last year's pattern, the result was declared on March 25. Since the examinations have been completed, it will take more than 1 month to check the copies and prepare the results. In such a situation, it is expected that Bihar Board 12th Result 2026 can be declared in the third or fourth week of March. The official date for the release of results will be announced later by BSEB.

Intermediate result will be released online by Bihar Board on the official website interbiharboard.com. After this, students will be able to check the result by filling the roll number and roll code and download the mark sheet. Following are the steps to check the result-

To pass, it is mandatory to obtain minimum 33 percent marks.

To pass the board examinations, it will be mandatory for all students to obtain minimum 33 percent marks in different subjects. Students who fail to obtain minimum marks will be considered failed. However, students who fail in one or two subjects will be able to apply for the supplementary exam after the release of the result and retake the exam and save their year from getting spoiled.
