Job Desk, New Delhi: Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) is accepting applications from candidates recruited for 493 posts of Work Inspector. To apply, it is mandatory for all categories of candidates to pay the application fee. The application fee for all categories of candidates has been fixed at Rs 100.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. In the written examination, candidates will be asked questions of 100 marks from subjects like Wireman, Electrician, Mathematics and General Knowledge etc. This examination will be conducted in computer mode. There will be negative marking of one mark for each correct answer and one-fourth mark for each wrong answer in the examination. Candidates who are successful in this examination will be called for the document verification process.
In the written examination, general category candidates will have to obtain 40 percent marks, backward class candidates will have to obtain 36 percent marks, extremely backward class candidates will have to obtain 34 percent marks and SC and ST candidates will have to obtain 32 percent marks.
