Budget 2026: Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Rohit Pandey of Bihar's Bhagalpur Assembly has described the Union Budget as a strong step towards a self-reliant and developed India. He said that this budget makes it clear that Developed India-2047 is not just a slogan, but the result of concrete policy, strong will and ground action plan of the government. This budget is visionary, inclusive and result oriented, which has been prepared towards empowering every section of the country.
Rohit Pandey said the MLA said the main focus of the budget is on youth and women empowerment, employment generation, education and strengthening the health system. From manufacturing to infrastructure, from rural India to Artificial Intelligence, from agriculture and animal husbandry to industry, tourism, sports and pilgrimage—this Budget opens new doors of opportunities for citizens of every village, town and city of the country.
MLA Shri Pandey said that special emphasis has been laid on strengthening the livestock based economy with the aim of increasing the income of farmers. Decisions like increasing the number of veterinary doctors, expansion of veterinary services and training centres, credit linked subsidy for dairy and poultry sector and promotion of fisheries through development of 500 lakes will give a new impetus to the rural economy. This will increase the income of farmers as well as livestock farmers and fishermen.
