Illegal constructions demolished with bulldozers.

Samvad Sutra, Sultanpur. To make the city encroachment free, the municipality also took action on Tuesday to remove encroachments from the road tracks. Illegal constructions were demolished by using bulldozers. During this period, the team collected a fine of Rs 15,500 from 23 shopkeepers. The goods of the encroachers were also confiscated.

Municipality Executive Officer Lal Chandra Saroj along with the police took action to remove the encroachment done in front of the shops along both the tracks of the road from Kotwali Nagar to Gallamandi Square, Chowk, Ghantaghar, Shahganj Square, Dariyapur Tiraha, Badhamandi Square, Panchrasta, Gabhadiya, Kudwar Naka Road.

While removing the encroachment, the EO has warned the shopkeepers that the shopkeepers who have been allotted shops in the vending zone should go there and set up their shops. The allotment of shops of shopkeepers who do not do so will be cancelled.

On this occasion, Assistant Engineer Santosh Kumar, Sanitation Inspector Adhulika, Revenue Inspector Praveen Singh, Anoop Kumar Bharti etc. were present.
