Communication partner, Ahmedgarh/Malerkotla. Under the anti-narcotics campaign, District Malerkotla Police has taken concrete action against two drug smugglers and destroyed illegal property created by selling drugs.
This action was taken in Malerkotla city with the cooperation of civil administration and city council. During this, the illegal property built by drug smuggler Mohammad Tahir alias Dhidguli, resident of Ismail Basti Idgah Road, Malerkotla and Mehboob Akhtar, resident of Gobind Nagar, near Kale Haji Masjid, Malerkotla, by occupying government land, was demolished.
SP Rajwinder Singh said that a total of 07 cases are registered against Mohammad Tahir alias Dhidguli, while 06 cases are registered against Mehboob Akhtar.
He made it clear that no person involved in crimes related to drug trafficking will be spared at any cost.
This action is a clear warning to drug traffickers that similar action will be taken against the properties built illegally.
