Jagran correspondent, Dhanbad. CBSE 10th, 12th Exam 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed the dates of class 10th and 12th examinations scheduled on March 3. The board has clarified that this change has been made for administrative reasons.
CBSE Examination Controller Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj said that the Class 10 examination, which was earlier to be held on March 3, will now be held on March 11. At the same time, the proposed 12th class examination on the same day has been rescheduled to April 10. The board has also clarified that except these two examinations, no change has been made in the dates of examinations of all other subjects. The remaining examinations will be conducted as per the pre-determined schedule.
CBSE has requested all the affiliated schools to immediately convey the information about the revised dates to the students and their parents, so that any kind of confusion or inconvenience can be avoided. It is noteworthy that the examination of regional languages of class 10 was scheduled on March 3. This included Tibetan, German, NCC, Bhoti, Bodo, Tangkhul, Japanese, Bhutia, Spanish, Kashmiri and Mizo, among other languages. Apart from this, the examination of the subject ‘Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy’ was also to be held on the same day.
After the change in date, now all the related examinations will be conducted as per the revised schedule. The board has appealed to the students to rely only on the information received from the official website of CBSE and schools.
