According to the information, Bisarkh Kotwali police has registered a case against an unknown person in the case of chain robbery from an old woman. A police team has been deployed to identify and arrest the accused. The incident took place at Law Residency Society around 5 pm on Thursday. Narendra's elderly mother living in the society was going towards the lift. Meanwhile, a miscreant had looted his chain and ran away.
The video of the incident was going viral on social media. In the footage, the woman and the girl are seen going towards the lift. Meanwhile, a miscreant wearing a helmet is seen walking towards them. As soon as the woman enters the lift, the miscreant snatches the chain from her neck and runs away through the gallery. Now the police is investigating to unravel this matter.
In this regard, Inspector in-charge Manoj Kumar Singh said that a police team has been deployed to unravel the matter. On the basis of the footage he will be identified and arrested soon.
