Police Raid On Liquor Party At Mudhi Mill In Jamtara, One Hand Broken In Stampede

Jagran correspondent, Muralipahari (Jamtara). Police raided Ektara Mohanpur Mudhi Mill premises of Narayanpur police station area on Saturday night. During the raid, seven to eight people were consuming alcohol. The raid was led by Police Inspector Ravindra Nath Yadav.

It is said that between 10 and 11:00 pm, the police raided the mill. Similarly, all the people drinking alcohol started running away by crossing the boundary. The police kept trying to catch the people who were running away.

However, while trying to escape, the police caught Nageshwar Mandal, son of Rajesh Mandal, resident of Mohanpur village. However, in this sequence, Nageshwar Mandal's hand got fractured. The police brought him to Narayanpur police station in the night itself.

Also, the police seized an electric scooter and three bikes present there and brought them to the police station. The police inspector has taken this action on the basis of secret information. The police inspector has claimed that secret information was received that there was a possibility of some major untoward incident. People were going to ask for a girl from outside.

However, the girl was not found there by the raid. But people were consuming alcohol. Its investigation is going on. If the seized bikes belong to criminal type of people, then appropriate action will definitely be taken. However, Dharae Nageshwar Mandal was released by the police in the morning and he has gone to a private hospital in Dhanbad for treatment of his hand.

It is noteworthy that a procession had come to Mohanpur village from Siyatand village of Karmatand police station area on Saturday night. A large number of people had attended the wedding ceremony here. The people of this marriage ceremony and some people of the village reached Mudhi Mill and were enjoying the party there with friends and friends with liquor and other food items. But as soon as the police reached there, people almost all ran away except Nageshwar due to fear of the police.
