Jagran correspondent, Chandigarh. On Sunday evening, a 26-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself in village Faidaan. Before committing suicide, the young man made a video with the camera in which he was saying that he did not want to live.
The deceased has been identified as Amit Vishwakarma. He was originally from Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. On receiving information about the incident, Sector-31 police station reached the spot, took possession of the body and started investigation.
On Sunday, the police had received information that a young man was found dead in village Faidaan. The brother of the deceased told the police that when he peeped through the window, he saw Amit hanging inside the room.
He raised an alarm and people gathered nearby and broke the door and brought him down. Amit was a carpenter by profession and was fond of photography.
