Fog wreaks havoc in UP
Jagran correspondent, Lucknow. Due to fog, road accidents have occurred in many districts of UP. In which 14 people have lost their lives so far and many have been injured. Many vehicles have become victims of accidents due to fog in Mathura, Baghpat, Unnao and Basti of the state.
Multiple vehicles collide in a horrific accident in Mathura, 4 killed
At around 2 o'clock on Monday night, several vehicles running at high speed collided with each other on the Yamuna Expressway on the lane going from Agra to Noida amidst dense fog. Seven buses and two cars caught fire. Many people were trapped inside the vehicles, some saved their lives by jumping from the buses. So far four people have been confirmed dead.
More than two dozen injured have been admitted to the hospital. Two dead people have been identified. After this accident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of this heart-wrenching incident. He has given instructions to the officials to provide assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the relatives of the deceased and provide better treatment to the injured.

Boulder collided in Unnao, 4 people died
At around 6 am on Tuesday morning, a Fortuner car traveling at a speed of 100 km per hour on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Unnao collided with a boulder placed on the airstrip in Bangarmau area and overturned. The collision was so strong that all the airbags of the car opened.
Four people, including the young man driving the car, died in the accident. There is a possibility of the car driver taking a nap amidst the fog. The police arrived seven minutes later, took out the people trapped in the car and took them to the CHC. The doctor declared everyone dead.

Four killed in bus-truck collision in Basti
A private passenger bus going from Sant Kabirnagar to Tirthanagari Ajmer collided with a truck. In this accident, four passengers died on the spot, while more than 20 people were injured. The condition of many of the injured is said to be serious. The accident occurred near Badevan Fourlane of Kotwali Basti at midnight on Monday.

Car falls into Hindon river in Baghpat, two including head constable killed
While returning after raiding Meerut, the car fell into the Hindon river from Balaini bridge late on Monday night. Two persons including a head constable were killed while three persons including a constable were injured.
When the police of Balaini and Singhawali Ahir police stations reached the spot, the car was found damaged at one end of the Hindon river. The policeman and other people were taken out of the car and taken to the nursing home, where doctors declared Rahul and Azaruddin dead.
