Digital Desk, Jabalpur. A strange but serious situation arose on Sunday morning in the sugar mill located at Kareli in Narsinghpur district. Due to an unknown car parked at the main gate of the factory, the entire traffic came to a standstill, due to which hundreds of farmers present inside the mill premises and their empty tractor-trolleys were stuck inside. Due to this incident, an atmosphere of chaos and tension was created in the mill.

One car blocked the path of hundreds of tractors

According to the information, late in the night some unknown person parked his car right in front of the main gate of the mill and left from there. In the morning, when the empty tractors started coming out after weighing, the gate was found completely closed. It is being told that due to the steering of the car being locked, it was not possible to push it away. As a result, long queues of trolleys formed inside the mill and the entire system got jammed.

Farmers' anger erupted, tension at the gate

The patience of the farmers, already troubled by the delay in weighing, broke after this incident. The angry farmers raised slogans against the mill management and a tense situation arose at the main gate. Farmers say that they are forced to wait for hours in the extreme cold. On Saturday also, there was a jam of about two kilometers long outside the mill. Farmers raised questions on the security arrangements of the mill management and said that due to negligence someone parked the vehicle at the gate and went away.

Crisis on factory operations

Considering the seriousness of the matter, Journal Manager of the mill Awasthi has expressed concern. He said that if the main gate is not vacated and evacuation of trolleys is started soon, the inflow of sugarcane will stop completely. In such a situation, the operation of the mill may have to be stopped, which will cause huge losses to both the farmers and the factory.

Seeing the situation worsening, the mill management has informed the local police and administration so that the said car can be removed with the help of a crane and traffic can be restored. Farmers have demanded that the mill management should make adequate security arrangements so that such a situation does not arise again in future.
