Vineet Tripathi, New Delhi. Rouse Avenue Court has framed charges against Congress leader Alka Lamba in the case of attacking policemen during the protest at Jantar Mantar. This matter is of July 2024, when demonstrations were being held demanding women's reservation.
The court held that based on preliminary evidence and the investigation report, there were sufficient grounds to frame charges. Delhi Police alleges that during the protest, law and order was broken and some policemen were assaulted and attacked.
A case was registered against Alka Lamba and others in this connection. Now there will be a regular hearing in the court in this case and as part of the further legal process, a decision will be taken on the basis of evidence and witnesses.
