Chargesheet Filed Against 38 Accused Of Bareilly Violence Including Maulana Tauqeer, One Case Transferred To Crime Branch

Jagran correspondent, Bareilly. Baradari police has filed a charge sheet against 38 people including Maulana Tauqeer Raza, accused of rioting. A second charge sheet will soon be sent to the court against the remaining 36 people who have come to light.

Out of these 36 people, three have taken a stay on their arrest from the High Court. The police will arrest them as soon as the stay date is over. The chargesheet of all these people has been filed in the court.

Under the guise of I Love Muhammad of Kanpur, Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan had created trouble in the city. The crowd that came on his call not only pelted stones at the police but also carried out a deadly attack. Petrol bombs were thrown at the police. Policemen were beaten up, police wireless and anti-rights guns were also looted.

After there was an atmosphere of chaos in the city, the police lathicharged the miscreants. After this, the police registered 10 cases against the accused in five police stations of the city.

In this, five cases were registered in Kotwali, two in Baradari police station and one case each in Kila, Premnagar and Cantt. Two major cases registered in Kotwali and Baradari were transferred to the crime branch. The police station in-charge had become the plaintiff in both these cases. The crime branch will also soon file charge sheets in both these cases.

At the same time, the plaintiff in the second case filed in Baradari police station was Shyamganj outpost incharge Akhilesh Sharma. A total of 19 people were named in this case. After this, names of 55 people came to light. Thus, till now 74 people had been made accused in this entire case.

The case was investigated by two sub-inspectors and finally by SSI Brahmpal Singh of Baradari police station. He himself has filed a charge sheet against 38 people including Maulana Tauqeer, Nadeem Khan, Nafees, his son Farhan, Moin Siddiqui alias Choti Katwa. Chargesheet is yet to be filed against the remaining 36 people. Out of these 36, three accused, Nadeem, Bablu and Sajid Saklaini, residents of Chak Mehmood, are the ones who have got a stay on their arrest from the High Court.

Police filed charge sheet against these accused

Nazim Raza Khan, Mohsin, Shakib, Jogi Nawada resident Rafiq, Mira ki Paith resident Zainul, Jogi Nawada resident Tauheen, Hajiyapur resident Faisal, Mobeen, Mira ki Paith resident Subhan, Faridpur resident IMC district president Shamshad, Hajipur resident a child abuser, Qazi Tola resident Tajim, Malukpur resident Shaan, Rohli Tola resident Muhammad Nadeem, Hussain Bagh resident Chargesheet has been filed against Rizwan, Aman Hussain, Shahjahanpur resident Idrish, Islamnagar resident Iqbal, Biharipur Karolan resident Nadeem, Kanghitola resident Nafees, his son Farhan Raza Khan, Hajiyapur resident Arif, Faridapur Chaudhary resident Shafile, Biharipur Memran resident Munir Idrisi and One Minar Masjid resident Afzal Beg.

Charge sheet has been filed in the court against 38 accused of the disturbance including Maulana Tauqeer Raza. Chargesheet will be filed against the remaining accused soon.
