Cheating Of Rs 7.46 Lakh In The Name Of Providing Job In Delhi AIIMS, Raids Are Being Conducted In Search Of Two Absconding Associates.

Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. Police arrested a woman who cheated on the pretext of getting a government job in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). She has been identified as Parvati alias Muskaan, resident of Jogam of Gauri Bazar police station of Deoria district.

She was living in a rented house in Kudaghat Vishunpura, Gorakhpur. Two fraud cases are already registered against the accused woman. After sending him to jail, the police is searching for his two other associates. This case is related to Sangam, resident of Sarvodaya Nagar Bichiya of Shahpur police station area. Sangam had told in the complaint given to the police that he had met Atul Sharma, a resident of Rajdhani of Jhangha police station. Describing himself as an influential person, Atul claimed to get a government job in AIIMS, Delhi. When Sangam himself refused to do the job, the accused proposed to get a job for one of his family members.

After this Sangam agreed to get a job for his sister Chandni. At the behest of the accused, for the first time on November 6, 2023, Rs 12,000 was transferred to a woman's account. After this, the amount was sent continuously in several installments on different dates.

According to Shahpur police station incharge Chandrabhan Singh, police investigation revealed that on the instructions of Atul Sharma, money was transferred to the accounts of women named Parvati alias Muskaan Vishwakarma and Sajal Pandey. A total of seven lakh 46 thousand rupees were sent to the accounts of the accused.

After taking the money, the accused handed over fake appointment letter, joining letter and other forged documents of AIIMS in the name of the victim's sister Chandni. Avnish Singh, an associate of the accused, kept assuring that recruitment and training would start soon in New Delhi. When the victim reached Delhi with his sister, AIIMS officials called the joining letter fake.

After realizing that they had been cheated, the accused started threatening them when they asked for the money back. CO Gorakhnath Ravi Singh said that a female accused has been arrested and sent to jail. Search for others is going on.
