State Bureau, Lucknow. Last month in January, the state government got a revenue of Rs 18,515.52 crore. This time the government has received Rs 1089.58 crore more as compared to January last year. However, the government's earnings from GST and mineral mining have declined.
After GST reform, the government is continuously getting less revenue from GST. Till January last year, Rs 68,902.13 crore was received from GST. In the current financial year till January, Rs 67,997.73 crore has been received.
In a press conference on Thursday, Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that Rs 18,515.52 crore was received from non-tax revenue in January this year, whereas Rs 17,425.94 crore was received in January last year.
In the last financial year till January, Rs 1,68,999.72 crore had come into the government treasury, whereas in the 10 months of the current financial year, Rs 1,78,556.43 crore had been received. Such a government has received approximately Rs 9557 crore more in the current financial year.
