Jagran correspondent, Shimla. In a major reshuffle in the police administration, the Himachal Pradesh government on Thursday night made transfers and new postings of 14 IPS and two HPS cadres. The Home Department has issued a notification and changed the Superintendents of Police of Solan, Shimla, Mandi and Una districts.

Gaurav Singh will be the Superintendent of Police, Shimla in place of IPS Sanjeev Gandhi. Sachin Hiremath has been appointed as Una, Tirumalaraju SD Verma as Solan and Vinod Kumar of HPS cadre as Superintendent of Police of Mandi. Gaurav was the Superintendent of Police in Solan.

Keeping the services of Sanjeev Gandhi, who recently became DIG, under the Personnel Department, a new responsibility has been fixed. Amit Yadav has been instructed to report to Police Headquarters, Shimla with immediate effect. Abhishek Dullar has been made Inspector General of Police, Communication and Technical Services, Shimla and Dr. DK Chaudhary has been made Inspector General of Police, Armed Police and Training Division.

Soumya Sambashivan, while holding the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Northern Zone Dharamshala, has been given additional charge of Police Training College, Daroh. Rohit Malpani has been appointed Deputy Inspector General of Police Cyber ​​Crime Shimla. Dr. Ramesh Chhajata has been appointed Deputy Inspector General of Police, Prison and Correctional Services, Shimla. Diwakar Sharma has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police Intelligence and Security, Dharamshala.

Sakshi Verma has been appointed Superintendent of Police, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Mandi. Arvind Chaudhary has been made the Commandant of the Fourth Indian Reserve Corps, Jangalbari. He has also been given additional charge of Mandi Zone Special Task Force.

Sandeep Kumar Bhardwaj has been removed from the State Human Rights Commission and posted as Assistant Officer to the Governor. HPS officer Raman Sharma, posted in Intelligence in Dharamshala, has been ordered to be present at the Police Headquarters, Shimla.
