Chief Minister Nitish Kumar opened treasury for Chhapra

Jagran correspondent, Chhapra (Saran). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Chhapra on Wednesday under 'Samriddhi Yatra' and gave a big gift of development to the district. By inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of a total of 69 schemes worth about Rs 537 crore, he presented the roadmap for the all-round development of Saran before the public. On this occasion, a festive atmosphere was seen in the district and a large number of people gathered at the venue.

The schemes gifted by the Chief Minister include the laying of the foundation stone of 45 new schemes costing Rs 450.30 crore and the inauguration of 24 schemes prepared at a cost of Rs 86.50 crore.

These projects relate to roads, health, power, agriculture and infrastructure, which are expected to strengthen the connectivity, medical facilities and rural economy of the district.

The main program was organized at Bind Tolia located in Chhapra Airport area, where the Chief Minister addressed the public from the stage built near the new bus stand under construction. He digitally inaugurated the schemes and laid the foundation stone through remote.

In his address, the Chief Minister said that the aim of the government is to ensure balanced development from city to village, so that every section can get better facilities.

District Magistrate Vaibhav Srivastava said that the administration had made extensive preparations for security and arrangements for the Chief Minister's visit. He said that with the completion of these projects, Chhapra will get modern facilities and new employment opportunities will also be created.

Road and electricity related schemes will boost transportation and industrial activities, while health sector projects will make treatment more accessible to the common people.

A lot of enthusiasm was seen among the local people regarding these announcements. He says that the development works which were being demanded for a long time will now be seen coming on the ground. Especially the improvement in roads and health services is expected to change the picture of the district.

With this milestone of Samriddhi Yatra, the government has given the message that concrete and big investments are being made to bring Saran into the mainstream of development. With the implementation of these schemes in the coming time, Chhapra can emerge as a developed and well-equipped district.
