Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will arrive in Prayagraj tomorrow to take stock of the preparations for Magh Mela in Prayagraj.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will come to Magh Mela on Saturday to review the preparations for the major bathing festivals of Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya and Vasant Panchami. He will perform Ganga puja and aarti at the Sangam and pray for the safe completion of all the three major bathing festivals. Will also take stock of the preparations.
Principal Secretary Tourism reviewed the preparations for two days
Principal Secretary Tourism Amrit Abhijat was in the city for two days regarding the Chief Minister's program. He reviewed the preparations. The Chief Minister will also be accompanied by Chief Secretary SP Goyal, DGP and several Additional Chief Secretaries. Apart from these, many Additional Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretaries of various departments will arrive a day before.
Chief Minister will also participate in the city program
The Chief Minister will remain in the Magh Mela for about four hours. After this, will participate in a program in the city. Regarding the Chief Minister's program, high officials inspected the Magh Mela area on Guruva. The officers went to the places where the program was proposed and checked the preparations.
Officials including Divisional Commissioner met the saints
Before Makar Sankranti, all the senior officials visited the fair area for the purpose of reviewing the fair arrangements and communicating with the saints. On this occasion, Divisional Commissioner Soumya Aggarwal, Police Commissioner Jogendra Singh, District Magistrate Manish Verma, Additional Police Commissioner Dr. Ajay Pal, Fair Officer Rishi Raj, Fair Police Superintendent Neeraj Pandey, Additional Fair Officer Mr. Dayanand Prasad and Deputy Fair Officer Vivek Shukla were present.
Officials inquire about well-being
The officials visited the senior saints in the fair area to inquire about their well-being and received blessings from them. During the visit, met Swami Rameshwaracharya Maharaj, Swami Vimaldev Maharaj, Brahmashram Maharaj, Swami Achyut Prapannacharya Maharaj, Kaushalendra Prapannacharya Maharaj and Pandit Krishnanand Maharaj respectively and took their blessings.
Instructions given to avoid inconvenience
During the interaction with the saints, the officials also instructed all the concerned departments to ensure that the saints and devotees do not face any kind of inconvenience. Thereafter, he went to Prayagwal and met the officials present there and after honoring many elderly and distinguished Kalpa residents, held necessary discussions regarding the fair arrangements.
