Jagran correspondent, Chirkunda (Dhanbad). Jharkhand municipal elections 2026: Voting has started for Chirkunda Municipal Council elections under Jharkhand Municipal Elections 2026. Voting started at 7 am on Monday. 42 booths have been made for voting. 37,007 voters will exercise their franchise at these booths.
Prashan has made full preparations to conduct it in a peaceful and fair manner. A large number of policemen have been deployed in the area. In this election, 13 candidates are trying their luck for the post of President and 83 for the post of Councilor. A total of 42 booths have been made.
