State Bureau, Chandigarh. As the new year begins, the political atmosphere is completely heated amidst the extreme cold. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and his wife Suman Saini met Governor Prof. Met Aseem Ghosh and his wife Mitra Ghosh at Raj Bhavan.
Earlier on January 1, the IAS Officers Association of Haryana had organized a lunch in the honor of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. There was a detailed discussion between the Chief Minister and the Governor on the pace of development projects of the state as well as on political issues. Chief Minister Nayab Saini has informed the Governor about the resolution of the BJP government for the year 2026. The Chief Minister has announced that in the year 2026, his government will focus on women empowerment, technology-based employment and encouraging natural farming.
The Chief Minister has started women empowerment by making changes in Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana. Under this, now those poor women of the state will also get the benefit of Rs 2100 per month under Lado Lakshmi Yojana, whose annual family income is up to Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand and whose children have obtained more than 80 percent marks in class 10th and 12th. The Chief Minister told the Governor that the Haryana Government has added this category to the benefits of Lado Lakshmi Yojana so that children can move towards becoming more talented and mothers can work diligently to get their children out of malnutrition. Chief Minister's wife Suman Saini, being the Vice-Chairperson of Haryana State Child Welfare Council, informed the Governor about the activities and future plans. On the other hand, BJP Rajya Sabha member from Haryana Rekha Sharma met BJP working president Nitin Nabin in New Delhi. Political issues of the state were discussed between the two. Rekha Sharma's name is also running for the post of Haryana BJP President.
Before Rekha Sharma, former Haryana minister Aseem Goyal and independent Rajya Sabha member Karthikeya Sharma had also met Nitin Nabin. Both Nitin Nabin and Aseem Goyal had worked together in the Bihar assembly elections. Chief Minister Nayab Saini has been among the star campaigners of BJP in Bihar elections.
