CM Nitish Inspected Matsya Bhawan, Said- Work Is Being Done Towards Making Bihar A Leading State In Fish Production.

State Bureau, Patna. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Monday that every possible effort is being made to make Bihar a leading state in the field of fish production. He said this while inspecting Matsya Bhawan located in Mithapur.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister took stock of the conference hall, director's chamber, work station etc. located on the first floor of the building. After this, after reaching the fourth floor, the Chief Minister took detailed information from the officials regarding the facilities provided there.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to shift the Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Department to this newly constructed Matsya Vikas Bhawan as soon as possible. For safety reasons, ensure provision of railings of sufficient height on each floor of this building. All necessary facilities should be ensured in the building, so that the fishermen get its benefits and Bihar progresses in the field of fisheries.

Every necessary work is being done by the state government for the development of various sectors including agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries. With the implementation of the agricultural road map, the production of vegetables, milk, eggs, meat, fruits and other crops has increased, due to which farmers are getting a lot of benefits.

During the inspection, Chief Minister's Principal Secretary Deepak Kumar, Secretary Kumar Ravi, Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Animal and Fisheries Resources Department Secretary Shirrat Kapil Ashok, Fisheries Director Tushar Singla, District Magistrate Dr. Thyagarajan SM and many other officials were present.
