State Executive meeting under the auspices of Jharkhand State Mahila Congress Committee
State Bureau, Ranchi. During the meeting of the State Executive under the aegis of Jharkhand Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee, it was decided to make the right to demand work a weapon. Even after this, if work is not available then unemployment allowance will be demanded by giving a collective application.
Jharkhand Pradesh Mahila Congress President Rama Khalkho has given the above instructions to the Mahila Congress leaders. In the meeting held at Congress Bhawan on Friday, State President Rama Khalkho addressed the gathering and gave instructions to work on the set agenda.
All district committees will review their work and ensure expansion of the committee in their respective districts within a month. Mahila Congress will never tolerate changing the name of MNREGA.
Congress instructed women that everyone has the right to ask for work under MNREGA. For this, we will have to collect at least 10 laborers who have job cards and are in need of work. Go to the Gram Panchayat office with all the job cards.
If the job card of the applicant is with someone else (Sarpanch-Pradhan/Mate/Panchayat office etc.) then take the job card from them. If work is not received within 5 days, then submit a collective application for unemployment allowance (which contains the details and signatures of all the applicant workers) at the block and block level, attaching copies of the receipt, and obtain the receipt.
Make a list of women candidates from all the districts in the civic elections.
Instructions were given to submit the list of women candidates from all the districts who are associated with the Congress ideology to contest for mayor, president, deputy mayor, vice president and ward councilor in the upcoming municipal elections 2026.
Rama Khalkho said that our Mahila Congress will work hard for all its candidates in the upcoming municipal elections and ensure victory.
In this meeting, Babi Bhagat, Sundari Tirkey, state and district women officers Neelam Sahay, Rita Chaudhary, Preeti Sahay, Neetu Devi, Mary Tirkey, Shahnaz Khatoon, Meena Devi etc. were present.
