Jagran correspondent, New Delhi. The dispute that started over lewd comments on a female friend's video uploaded on internet media turned into a bloody conflict. The other party called on the pretext of compromise and attacked the young man and his two friends with knives. One youth died in the attack and two injured have been admitted to the hospital.
The incident took place on the night of 15 January in Jaitpur police station area. The deceased has been identified as Krishna Sahu of Hari Nagar Extension and the injured have been identified as Sunny and Prince of Jaitpur. The police have registered a case under several sections including murder and attempt to murder and have arrested eight accused, including five minors. The adult accused have been identified as Deepak Kumar, Ashish and Neeraj Kumar.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Hemant Tiwari said that information was received about a knife attack on three people near Aggarwal Dharamshala in Mithapur. When police, crime team and FSL team reached the spot, it was found that the injured have been admitted to AIIMS hospital. After this, when the team reached the hospital, it was learned that the young Krishna Sahu had been declared dead by the doctors.
After this, when the police took the statement of the injured Prince, he told that recently he had uploaded the video of one of his female friends on the internet media. Deepak Kumar, a resident of Mithapur, was continuously making lewd comments on the video. Both of them had quarreled many times regarding this matter. There was a dispute between the two on the same issue on January 15, on which Deepak Paksha called him to Aggarwal Dharamshala asking for a compromise.
He reached Aggarwal Dharamshala with friends Krishna and Sunny. Deepak and his friends were already present here. As soon as the conversation started, Deepak and his friends attacked him with a knife. After this all the accused threatened and ran away. Police identified the accused from the footage of CCTV cameras installed near the spot and raided and arrested eight of them, including five minors. A knife, clothes worn at the time of the crime and a two-wheeler have been recovered from them.
