By pasting a notice, clarification was sought from all of them in the month of December itself. According to officials, the fine imposed on them was also high, which is why most of the drivers and conductors raised their problems. However, most of them could not work due to compulsions including personal incidents in their homes, hence only a fraction of the fine was recovered from them.
There were irregularities in the operation of buses by some driver-conductors, explanations were sought from them, sometimes due to domestic problems they left without giving information. However, action is taken from time to time as per rules.
