Crackdown On Tauqeer Raza's Son Farman, Crystal Drugs And Syringe Recovered After Car Accident In Shahjahanpur

Jagran correspondent, Shahjahanpur. The car of Farman Raza, son of Bareilly violence mastermind Tauqeer Raza, rammed into a Sitapur depot bus running ahead on the Lucknow Delhi National Highway.

However he was not hurt. After bringing him to the police station for questioning and searching his bags, crystal drugs and syringes were recovered from him. He has been taken to the medical college for testing.

Tauqeer Raza was arrested on charges of inciting violence in Bareilly on September 26 last year, after which he is lodged in Fatehgarh jail. Farman had to meet a lawyer in Prayagraj for his bail.

He was going there by car on Tuesday night, but on reaching Shahjahanpur his schedule suddenly changed. While going back to Bareilly, the Sitapur depot bus running ahead suddenly stopped at Kachhiani Kheda in Tilhar, due to which his car collided with the bus. Farman was alone in the car.

There were seven to eight youths in the other car coming from behind. By the time they were able to get Farman into their car, the police arrived. On this the youth left from there. After this he was taken to Tilhar police station, where ASP Rural Diksha Bhanware interrogated him for more than half an hour.

SP Rajesh Dwivedi said that drugs and syringes were recovered during the search of his bags. After this he was taken to the medical college for medical examination. The bus was also called back after dropping the passengers at Katra.
