Crowd gathered in Gayatri Mahayagya and Pragya Purana Katha

Sons, Jagran, Kulti: A large number of devotees from the surrounding areas were present on Sunday, the second day of the four-day Gayatri Mahayagya and Shrimad Pragya Purana Katha organized at the holy Panchvati Mahamaya Navdurga Temple complex located at Birla Road in Kulti. The entire temple complex was filled with devotional atmosphere. On this occasion, storyteller Lata Jaiswal, who came from Shantikunj, Haridwar, threw light on the story of Shrimad Pragya Purana in detail. He told that Pragya Purana is divided into four sections and each section has seven chapters. Through the story, he said that only by adopting virtues in life, a person can attain the ultimate happiness of satsang. The greatest knowledge of man is that he can correctly recognize his inner ignorance, shortcomings and evils. The easiest way to meet God is to give up our evils. When a man gives up all the vices, he automatically unites with God and all his sorrows are relieved. Throwing light on the importance of satsang, he said that people keep coming and going to satsang, but it is very important to adopt the good thoughts received in satsang in life. Just as poverty is destroyed by being close to the Kalpavriksha, similarly Satsang is a lake of knowledge and a mine of happiness. During the story, he presented the examples of devotees Shiromani Shabari and Vidurani and told that God himself comes to the devotees through satsang done with true heart. The arrival of Lord Shri Ram at Mata Shabari's house and Lord Shri Krishna's arrival at Vidurani's house is proof of this. He said that God provides support only when a person possesses virtues. Govind Prasad Gupta, Munna Sharma, Ramnath Rai, Dharamraj Pandey, Chandan Gupta and all the Kulti residents played a commendable role in making the program successful.
