Digital Desk, New Delhi. Pakistan's military establishment is providing space for operations to radical Islamic groups like Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood. Due to this, local organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed are getting support.
Besides, he is seeking support from Islamic countries on the issue of Gaza and Kashmir. This claim has been made in a report by the Afghan Diaspora Network. The report highlights that Pakistan is providing shelter to Hamas to organize local and international terrorist organizations against India, Western countries and Israel.
According to the report, the international community should take Pakistan's inclination towards West Asia as an urgent challenge to prevent a new wave of proxy conflicts and armed confrontations in these regions. This matters because as Pakistan increases its presence in West Asia, its open support for terrorist organizations will become a regional problem.
The report said that Pakistan has been supporting terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed in anti-India activities for a long time. Despite banning them after international pressure, they are active through their affiliate organizations. Political and religious forums have also consistently supported Hamas representatives.
