Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. In Aghoria Bazar Satpura Colony Ward No. 30 of Kazimohammedpur police station, a pet dog of Rottweiler breed attacked a 21-month-old innocent child and seriously injured him.
The child's mother Sonali Chandra has lodged a complaint at Kazimohammedpur police station regarding the incident. It said that the incident occurred around 8:45 in the morning.
The child was strolling outside the house with the driver. Meanwhile, a dangerous Rottweiler dog growing up in a nearby house suddenly targeted the child.
The relatives immediately ran to the hospital with the child. There the doctors provided first aid and administered anti-rabies injection to prevent infection.
The family affected by the incident is in shock and worry. The negligence of the current tenants of the neighboring house and carelessness of the driver have been cited as the main reasons for this accident.
Saurabh Sharma, the actual owner of the concerned house, does not reside there and the tenant currently living there is not able to take proper care of the pet dog.
However, the victim generously said that she did not want action against any particular person, rather her priority was to take action against the Rottweiler dog so that such an incident does not happen to any other child in the locality in future.
The victim has also provided the contact numbers of the landlord and tenants to the police for investigation.
