Jagran correspondent, Chitrakoot. After a dispute between husband and wife in Garhi Kala village of Raipura police station area, a 21-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself in the house. This incident, which happened on Saturday afternoon, created chaos in the family.
According to Sharda Prasad, resident of Garhi Kala, her brother Dwarika Prasad had a dispute with his wife Pooja Devi over some issue on Saturday. At around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, Dwarika committed suicide by hanging herself with her saree in the room of her house.
At that time his wife Pooja Devi had gone to her aunt's father-in-law Ramprakash's house, due to which the house was vacant. Dwarika was the elder of two brothers and used to run the family by working as a laborer in Karvi and surrounding villages. His wife is five months pregnant. Police station in-charge Ashutosh Tiwari said that the reasons for suicide are not clear and investigation is being done.
