CUET UG 2026: Examination For Admission In Central University Will Be Held In May, NTA Released Guidelines And Syllabus

Jagran correspondent, Patna. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the advisory for the candidates of Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026. According to NTA, the exam will be held in May. As soon as the application process starts, candidates will be able to apply online by visiting the website cuet.nta.nic.in.

However, the date of application has not been released yet. NTA clarified that during the online application process, if the name or other details in the Aadhaar card and class 10th mark sheet of any candidate do not match, then they will be provided an opportunity to correct them.

This will facilitate the candidates to correct the errors related to the documents. Students can check the websites nta.ac.in and cuet.nta.nic.in for every information and notice. The examination will be computer based.

Students can check the subject wise syllabus by visiting the website cuet.nta.nic.in. This time the syllabus has been made available to the students much earlier so that they can get the benefit. The syllabus for domain subject is the same which students study in 12th. The syllabus is divided into different departments. These include languages, domain subjects and general tests.

Many Indian and foreign languages ​​including English are included. This section mainly looks at how well they understand what they read. Along with words and sentences, questions related to grammar can also be asked.

Questions will be asked from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science and Environmental Studies related to class 11th and 12th. Separate PDF is available for each subject.

This syllabus includes General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Numerical Ability. This section tests thinking skills and awareness of daily occurrences.

UGC NET 31 admit card released

NTA released the admit card for UGC NET December 2025 session on Sunday. Those who have to appear for the exam on December 31 can download the admit card from the portal ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the admit card using application number and password or date of birth.

Computer-based test mode will be used for 85 subjects of UGC NET. The examination will be conducted on December 31, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 January 2026 at various examination centers in the country. The examination will be held in two shifts from 9 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Paper 1 will have 50 questions on teaching and research aptitude, while Paper 2 will have 100 questions on the subject chosen by the candidate. NTA said that it will be mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card and original photo ID proof (like Aadhar Card, Voter ID) to the examination centre.

NEET PG second round admission till date

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Council (BCECEB) has released the revised seat allotment list for the second round of NEET PG 2025 counselling. For admission to MD, MS, PG Madam and DNB courses, candidates can visit the council's website (bceceboard.bihar.gov.in).

Candidates getting seats will have to report to the allotted medical college by 29th December. It is important for the student to carry all the original certificates and necessary documents where their documents will be verified.
