A friend living in Dongri-9 forced her to come to Mumbai after showing her the vegetable garden. This girl had chosen him as her partner on the dating site Tinder. He dropped both the girls at home and called them to Mumbai after telling them about his plan to reach Dongri safely.
Both of them stayed there with the same friend, where many friends of her like mind were present. Who was active on dating site Tinder to choose a friend like her. Whenever she got the chance, she was reaching her partner. When both of them went out for a walk from this place in Dongri, they came under the attention of the local police.
In fact, after registering the report of the mysterious disappearance of both the girl students from Bhagalpur, the police team had provided their photographs to all the shelter homes and social welfare institutions of the country for their safe recovery.

The women's team of the local police station safely handed over both the girl students to the Social Welfare Centre. From there, SSP and City SP were contacted and their verification was done and both the girl students were identified. Mumbai Police tried to nab her Tinder friend on her trail, but she turned out to be clever and went underground in time.
However, the entire incident will become clear only after the safe recovery of both the girl students when they reach Bhagalpur. The complete picture of the case can be revealed only after the statement in the court.
Both girl students kidnapped from Babarganj recovered from Mumbai, SIT goes to bring them
The clue of the two girl students of class 10, who were kidnapped on January 8, 2026 from Babarganj police station area of Bhagalpur city, was found on the 21st day. Both have been recovered from Mumbai. The technical cell has done the verification of the recovered girl students. SSP Pramod Kumar Yadav has sent the team of police officers involved in the SIT to Mumbai along with their relatives to bring the girl students to Bhagalpur. He will return safely in the next two days.
SSP said that human trafficking has no role in the disappearance of both the girl students. Still, the police is investigating the entire incident at all points. The statement of the girl students will be recorded in the court. In this case, Range IG Vivek Kumar had directed to take all necessary steps for the immediate recovery of the girl students.
The concern of the family members increased when the girl students were not recovered for 20 days. Both of them left home for Saryu Devi Mohan Lal School to collect the admit card for matriculation examination and were mysteriously kidnapped. Information about the action of the special investigation team formed in this case was also being taken from the police headquarters.
Local people say that the previous kidnapping of a student and her safe return was linked to human trafficking, due to which the family members were very worried. However, police officers of the special team say that no evidence of human trafficking has been found in the investigation so far. Now the entire situation will become clear only after interrogating the girl students. Here, there is a wave of happiness among the relatives after the recovery of both the girl students.
Under the supervision of City SP Shailendra Kumar Singh, a special team of police which included female trainee DSP, DSP City 2 Rakesh Kumar, Babarganj police station incharge Ravi Shankar Kumar, DIU in-charge Ranjit Kumar and the SSP of the technical cell have been appreciated.
