In fact, after registering the report of the mysterious disappearance of both the girl students from Bhagalpur, the police team had provided their photographs to all the shelter homes and social welfare institutions of the country for their safe recovery.

The clue of the two girl students of class 10, who were kidnapped on January 8, 2026 from Babarganj police station area of ​​Bhagalpur city, was found on the 21st day. Both have been recovered from Mumbai. The technical cell has done the verification of the recovered girl students. SSP Pramod Kumar Yadav has sent the team of police officers involved in the SIT to Mumbai along with their relatives to bring the girl students to Bhagalpur. He will return safely in the next two days.

SSP said that human trafficking has no role in the disappearance of both the girl students. Still, the police is investigating the entire incident at all points.
