State Bureau, New Delhi. Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Friday approved a budget of Rs 14,962 crore for the financial year 2026-27. Demonstrating its strong financial position, DDA also declared revenue profit of Rs 2,112 crore in the board meeting chaired by LG VK Saxena.
Profit after decade long loss
According to DDA officials, this is the third consecutive year that the authority has been profitable. Before this, DDA was running in loss for almost a decade. The main reason for this success is the record sale of flats. For the first time in the financial year 2025-26, DDA has set a record of selling 10,160 flats in a year.

DDA has given a big relief to the government universities to develop Narela sub-city as a hub of education. Waiver of interest on premium and delayed payment of land allotted to universities has been given.
DDA has also approved its "Advertisement Policy" to increase revenue. Under this, advertisements can be placed in DDA parks, sports complexes and golf courses. Revenue for outdoor advertisements will be shared with the municipal corporation, but DDA will have complete control over the earnings within parks and sports complexes.
