Digital Desk, New Delhi. The body of a suspended professor has been found in a decomposed state inside a closed car in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem. Meanwhile, the family members including the wife and two daughters of the deceased professor living in Chittoor district have been informed about the incident.

Actually, this incident took place near the Alipiri entrance of Tirupati Devasthanam, where local people informed the police after a strong foul smell came from the parked car. When the police reached the spot after receiving the information and opened the door of the car, they found the body of Dr. Gugloth, which was completely decomposed, on the driver's seat of the car.

Investigation continues from both angles of murder and suicide

A Tirupati West police official said preliminary investigations suggest that the professor may have died several days before his body was found. The exact cause of death will be known only after post mortem. Police are investigating the case from both suicide and murder angles.

Dr. V. Sardar Gugloth was an Associate Professor in the College of Commerce, Management and Computer Science, Sri Venkateswara University. He had already been suspended by the university administration, although the exact reason for the suspension has not been made public yet.
