The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Yasir Ahmed Dar, another terrorist of Pakistani terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed associated with the white-collar terrorist network, in the case of detonating a human bomb in a Haryana number I-20 car outside the Red Fort. A shocking thing has come to light in the NIA investigation. Terrorist Yashir Ahmed Dar was presented in Patiala court.
...and the terrorist's plans were foiled
Terrorist Yasir Ahmed Dar also killed in Red Fort car blast, terrorist Dr. Like Umar Nabi Butt, he was preparing to become a human bomb. His plan was also to carry out a suicide attack like Umar Nabi Butt. For this, he had taken oath several months ago while talking to his masters sitting in Pakistan, but due to the busting of the white collar doctor module and the arrest of many terrorist associates, the broader plan of this module got ruined.
No plans to explode right now
NIA says that after seeing the arrest of many terrorists of this module in Faridabad and the recovery of their explosives, weapons and cartridges by the police, Umar Nabi Butt, who hurriedly came from Faridabad to Delhi, may have carried out the blast by posing as a human bomb outside the Red Fort on November 10, but this module was not planning to carry out the blast as of now. This module was still in planning.
Caught from Muslim dominated area
According to NIA, if Yasir Ahmed Dar had also been in Delhi-NCR at that time, then he too could have terrorized Delhi-NCR by becoming a human bomb. 15 people were killed and 22 people were injured in the Red Fort blast case. NIA says that Yasir Ahmed Dar is the ninth terrorist to be arrested in this case. He is a resident of Shopian, Srinagar. He has been caught by NIA from a Muslim dominated area in Delhi.
Yasir's active role in the conspiracy behind the car bomb blast
NIA investigation has revealed that Yasir had an active role in the conspiracy behind the car bomb blast that took place in the national capital on November 10. Actively involved in the conspiracy, he took an oath of allegiance and vowed to carry out sacrificial operations.
After several of his associates were caught, he advised Umar to pose as a human bomb and detonate it on November 10, the day of the incident. That day he had expressed regret for being in Shopian.
The investigation also revealed that Yasir was in close contact with other accused in the case, including Umar un Nabi (the deceased perpetrator of the bomb blast) and Mufti Irfan.
Several digital devices and other objectionable materials seized
Working closely with various central and state agencies, the NIA is moving swiftly to unearth the conspiracy behind the terror attack. Earlier this month, it conducted massive searches at the locations of several suspects in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh and seized several digital devices and other incriminating material. Before this, the main accused Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ghani and Dr. Searches were also conducted at the premises of Shaheen Saeed, who was at Al Falah University Complex and other places in Faridabad (Haryana).
Sent to NIA custody till 26th December
The court of Principal District and Sessions Judge at Patiala House sent Yasir Ahmed Dar, accused in the Red Fort bomb blast case, to NIA custody till December 26. Dar was produced in the court amid tight security arrangements. Principal District and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna passed the order after hearing the arguments on behalf of the NIA. Due to security reasons, the case was heard in a closed room. Earlier, the NIA custody of two other accused Dr. Bilal Nasir Malla and Shoaib arrested in the case was extended till December 19. Both the accused will be produced in the court after the completion of their custody period.
