Jagran Correspondent, West New Delhil Dwarka District Police has achieved a major achievement by reiterating its resolve of service and dedication. Through hard work and technical investigation, the monitoring cell of the district has recovered more than 270 stolen and lost mobile phones and handed them over to their rightful owners.
Last Tuesday evening, a special program was organized in the conference hall located in the Deputy Commissioner office complex. DCP Ankit Singh and Additional DCP Saurabh Chandra were present as chief guests in this program. The officials returned their lost mobile phones to the people with their own hands, which made many people emotional.
DCP Ankit Singh said that this success has been possible due to the dedicated team of the monitoring cell. He highly appreciated the team led by ASI Jai Bhagwan, which included Head Constables Ombir, Rajesh, Rajbir, Bhajan Pal and Constables Anil Kumar and Narsingh Dev.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner of Police encouraged the employees and said that civilian safety and recovery of their property is our priority. He instructed the cell that such programs should be organized regularly in future also so that the confidence of the general public in the police can be further strengthened.
Citizens who got their mobiles back expressed their gratitude to the Dwarka Police, saying that they did not expect that their lost phones would ever be recovered. This promptness of the police has given a positive message of security in the district.
