Jagran correspondent, outer Delhi. Troubled by continuous losses in business and mental stress, a young man went to his sister's house in Narela and committed suicide by stabbing a knife in the neck. The deceased has been identified as Mohit, who was into tea-leaf business. Narela Industrial Police Station area police has handed over the body to the relatives after post-mortem. A case has been registered under relevant sections and investigation has been started.
According to the information, Mohit lived in Najafgarh with his father, elder sister and younger brother. His mother has already died. Father is ASI in Delhi Police. Mohit used to do tea leaf business. Mohit was troubled by continuous losses in his business for some time.
Due to this tension, he reached his sister's house in Narela on 15 December. Where the bathroom was locked from inside and a knife was stabbed in the neck. The family members became suspicious when the door was not opened for a long time. When we broke the door and looked inside, Mohit was found with a knife stabbed in his neck. Which had passed through.
The relatives immediately took him to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. On receiving the information, police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Police officials said that no suicide note has been recovered from the deceased.
In the initial investigation, the reason for suicide is believed to be financial crisis and mental pressure. Police say that the case is being investigated keeping all the aspects in mind. Further action will be taken on the basis of post mortem report and statement of the relatives.
