State Bureau, New Delhi. There was light fog in Delhi on Saturday morning. There was light cloud cover during the day, due to which the temperature dropped slightly. A change in weather is expected on Sunday. According to the forecast of the Indian Meteorological Department, there will be light fog in the morning. It will be cloudy during the day. There may be light rain with strong winds.
The minimum temperature recorded on Saturday was 6.7 degrees Celsius, which is 1.1 degrees Celsius less than Friday. The maximum temperature also dropped by one degree Celsius to 21.5 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department says that it will remain cloudy on Sunday also. There is a possibility of light rain from morning till before noon. It may rain in the evening also.
During the day, winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. The minimum temperature may increase by three to five degrees Celsius in the next three days, but the maximum temperature will drop by three to four degrees Celsius.
Delhi's air quality in 'very poor' category...
Delhi's air quality has once again reached 'very poor' category. On Friday, the air quality index (AQI) was 253, which was in the 'poor' category, but on Saturday it reached 315, which is in the 'very poor' category. The air quality has deteriorated in other cities of NCR also.
AQI was recorded at 324 in Noida, 328 in Greater Noida and 313 in Ghaziabad. According to the Central Pollution Control Board's SAMEER app, five out of 39 operational pollution monitoring stations recorded AQI above 400, in the 'severe' category, at 8 pm on Saturday night.
The air quality was in 'very poor' category at 22 places and 'poor' category at 12 places. Nehru Nagar was the most polluted, where the AQI was 427.
