Hardik Pandya played his last test in 2018

Sports Desk, New Delhi. Hardik Pandya was once an important part of India's Test team. Due to his presence the balance of the team was maintained. However, due to injuries, Pandya was out of this format and then gradually he moved away from it. Pandya himself decided not to play the Test. Now the demand for his return to Test is rising.

Recently, India's performance in Tests has been quite disappointing. After Pandya's departure, the team has not got any fast bowling all-rounder. BCCI has given opportunities to Nitish Kumar Reddy, but he has not been that effective. In bowling, Nitish craves for overs but the team management does not seem to be in favor of making him bowl. He bowls very little.

Pandya played his last Test match for India in the year 2018. After this he was out due to a back injury. Pandya has played 11 test matches for India and scored 532 runs. One century and four half-centuries have also come from his bat. Former Indian team batsman Robin Uthappa believes that Pandya should play Test. He said that if Pandya wants to play Test, will BCCI stop him from playing?

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Uthappa said, "It would be great if Hardik Pandya makes a comeback at No. 7 in Tests. The way he is playing, anything can happen, this is cricket. Never say never. If Pandya decides to play Test, will the BCCI refuse him? If he wants to play and win the Test Championship, I don't think they will refuse him. I think they will ask Pandya to prove his fitness."

Uthappa said that Nitish is not bowling much. He said, "Nitish Kumar is not bowling much. He bowls 12 overs. If Pandya bowls 12-15 overs per innings, then I think he can do it with his fitness at the moment."

Which cricketer wouldn't want that?

Uthappa said which cricketer would not want to win as many ICC trophies as possible. He said that Pandya has won the Champions Trophy and T20 World Cup. He would also like to win the Test Championship. He said, "He has won many ICC trophies at this point. He has won the Asia Cup, T20 World Cup. He would want to win the ICC Test Championship. After that, the whole Grand Slam. What cricketer would not want that?"
