Trains are running late due to dense fog in Delhi. Awakening
State Bureau, New Delhi. There was fog in Delhi even on Tuesday morning. Traffic has been affected due to this. Fog had started spreading since Monday night and it continues in the morning also.
There is some improvement in visibility on Tuesday morning compared to Monday morning, but the problem remains. At 8.30 am, visibility was 250 meters at Indira Gandhi International Airport and 100 meters at Safdarjung. Visibility was only 50 meters on Monday morning.
At the same time, due to fog, vehicles are moving crawling on the roads. Movement of flights and trains has also been disrupted. More than 65 trains coming to Delhi are running late by two to 10 hours. Along with long distance trains, many local trains are also running late.

On Tuesday morning, pollution in Delhi reduced from severe to very poor category. On Monday, Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) was 401 i.e. in the severe category. On Tuesday morning it was recorded at 390 i.e. in very poor category.
