Jagran correspondent, Gulfarbari (Dhanbad). Late on Saturday night, Nirsa police chased away eight security personnel of STABGM company by lathi charge and took out the vehicles laden with scrap from Kapasara Outsourcing. During the lathi charge, ECL Mugma area security guard Jitan Manjhi was also beaten up.

Security personnel Narayan Singh said that under the banner of Janata Mazdoor Sangh, all the security personnel of STABGM Company were protesting against taking away the crusher machine from Kapasara demanding their outstanding salaries. In this sequence, vehicles laden with scrap were stopped under the leadership of BJP leader and Central Secretary of Janata Shramik Sangh, Bhupendra Singh.

Here, at around 11 pm, Nirsa police reached the spot blowing sirens and lathicharged all the protesting security personnel and chased them away. After this, the police took out the vehicles laden with scrap from Kapasara and took them to NH-19. During this time, CPI(ML) leaders Ramji Yadav and Roshan Mishra were also present with the police.

During the lathi charge, ECL Mugma area security guard Jitan Manjhi, who was making a video, was beaten up and his mobile phone was snatched, which was later returned by the police.

In this regard, BJP leader Bhupendra Singh said that instead of paying the outstanding salaries of the security personnel, the leaders of the ruling party, with the help of police, got the vehicles laden with scrap taken out of Kapasara. He said that the Janata Shramik Sangh will soon hold a meeting and block the ECL Mugma area to demand the outstanding salaries of the security personnel.
