State Bureau, Patna. Nawada resident Vinod Kumar Yadav alias Jageshwar Yadav alias Jago Yadav, an accused who was absconding for a long time in a case of obtaining a job by making fake documents, has been arrested by the police. His arrest was made on February 15, 2026, on the basis of a non-bailable warrant issued on the orders of the monitoring judge.
According to information received from surveillance sources, Vinod Kumar Yadav, who was previously working as a constable in Rohtas district. He was subsequently dismissed from service in one case. Vinod Yadav is accused of preparing fake documents along with other people.
On the basis of these forged documents, he rejoined the service illegally and also received payment of salary. The investigation also revealed that the original file related to the matter was disappeared due to fear of the matter being exposed.
After the completion of the investigation, a charge sheet was filed against him in the court in the year 2024. The court took cognizance of the case and issued summons and later bailable warrant for the presence of the accused, but he did not appear in the court. After this a non-bailable warrant was issued against him.
During investigation the accused was found absconding from the house. Later the Superintendent of Police, Nawada was informed. The accused was finally arrested on Sunday 15 February 2026 by conducting a special operation of Nawada District Police.
After the arrest, on February 16, the surveillance station produced the accused in the Special Court, Surveillance, from where he was sent to judicial custody. Further hearing of the case will take place in the court.
