Religion Desk, New Delhi. According to the Vedic calendar, Tuesday 17th February is Phalguna Amavasya. The first solar eclipse of the year (Surya Grahan 2026) will occur on this day. However, it will not be visible in India. Even Sutak will not be valid for this. Solar eclipse always occurs on Amavasya Tithi. At the time of eclipse, the influence of Rahu increases on the Earth. For this, auspicious work is not done during the eclipse.
Astrology recommends chanting Hari and Shiva during eclipse. Due to this, Rahu does not have any inauspicious effect on any particular person. If you also want to get the blessings of Lord Vishnu, then chant these mantras at the time of solar eclipse. By chanting these mantras the evil eye of Rahu does not fall on the person.
