Shahrukh accused of rape
Jagran correspondent, Moradabad. Shahrukh, a resident of Gajraula, Nagar Panchayat of Amroha, trapped a Hindu girl from Moradabad in the trap of love by posing as Ashish. Raped the girl and then made an obscene video. By threatening to broadcast the video, they started pressurizing the girl for religious conversion and marriage.
On Thursday evening, the accused forcibly took the girl to Brass Basti of Katghar area. After the information, Hindu leaders gathered. They caught the accused youth. After that he was beaten and handed over to the police. The girl's relatives also reached. Police have registered an FIR against the accused. The police is busy investigating the entire matter.
The girl's mother told in the complaint letter given to the Katghar police that her daughter has created an ID on Instagram. About two years ago, Shahrukh, a resident of Gajraula, Amroha, came in contact with his daughter by creating a fake ID in the name of Ashish. The accused youth described himself as a Hindu. After this both of them started meeting each other.
At that time, the accused was working as a hair cutter in a salon in Moradabad while the girl was pursuing her graduation. The accused raped her on the pretext of marriage and made an obscene video. After that the accused told the girl that his name is not Ashish but Shahrukh and he is not a Hindu but a Muslim.
Threatened to broadcast the video if complaint was made. On Thursday evening, the accused called the girl to his house in Brass Basti of Katghar. Here the accused raped the girl and started pressurizing her to convert. Talked about marriage after conversion.
When Shiv Sainik and workers of other Hindu organizations got information about this matter from someone, they reached there and caught the accused. Beat him up. After this he was handed over to the police. SP City Kumar Ran Vijay Singh said that an FIR has been registered against the accused Shahrukh under the sections of rape and pressurizing for religious conversion. The accused is in custody. He will be sent to jail on Friday.
