Doctor Did Not Come To JLNMCH In Bhagalpur Despite Repeated Calls, Patient Died In Agony, Huge Ruckus

The patient died in agony in the medicine ward of the Medical College Hospital. (Awakening)

Jagran correspondent, Bhagalpur. A patient suffering from kidney disease, admitted in room number one of the medicine department of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital (JLNMCH), died in agony due to lack of treatment.

The son of the deceased told that at 7.30 in the morning the father suddenly had trouble breathing. He ran to call the doctor and nurse, but no one came. He died a painful death due to lack of timely treatment. After which the son of the deceased created a ruckus.

Started kicking and punching the gate of the nurse's room and the doctor's chamber. Seeing the situation becoming chaotic, the nurses and other staff hid in fear. Locked myself in the room. This situation continued for 25 to 30 minutes.

Later, he was pacified by some kind of persuasion. The sad thing is that neither the HOD nor the hospital manager was informed about this incident and uproar. Both have denied having knowledge of the incident.

Sometimes emergency and sometimes running for the department

According to family members, when the patient's health deteriorated, we kept searching for a doctor from 6:30 to 7:30 in the morning. Sometimes we go to the department and sometimes to emergency. We searched for a doctor in emergency six to seven times. The nurse was also informed about the situation but everyone remained insensitive. Here, due to the uproar, other patients admitted in the medicine department and their relatives faced problems.

I am not aware of the uproar. No one has even given information about this. Information about the matter will be taken on Monday.
