Jagran correspondent, Sonipat. Due to a malfunction in the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) located on Mahalana Road, the supply of drinking water in the entire line crossing area came to a standstill.
Due to which drinking water supply in the area crossing the line was disrupted for about 16 hours. After the information, outgoing Mayor Rajeev reached the spot, inspected the spot and called the officials to get the investigation done. Where the electric fuse was found blown. After getting it repaired, drinking water supply was made smooth. Drinking water supply stopped due to interruption in power supply in the water treatment plant. Due to faulty battery of the generator, the supply could not start even from them.

When outgoing Mayor Rajiv Jain reached the spot after receiving the complaint, Rahul, the junior engineer present at the plant, said that he was busy finding the fault since morning, but till now it has not been found.
When Rajeev Jain asked why the generator was not started because the lights were not working, he told that the battery of the generator was bad. Jain asked how much time does it take to bring another battery, the supply has been stopped for the last 16 hours, drinking water could have been supplied. He could not give any answer on this.
The problem was due to low voltage
When Rajiv Jain lifted the handle of the electric pole, the voltage in the motor was decreasing. After which when he reached the 33 KV sub station located in Sector-23, he found that the reason for low voltage was a blown fuse from the power station, he called the electricity corporation officials and got the fuse installed, after which the power supply started. Drinking water supply was also made smooth.
