Murder In Gayaji, Man Beaten To Death When He Was Prevented From Playing Mobile Game; 2 Arrested

Jagran correspondent, Gayaji. The craze and addiction of mobile games has put humanity to shame. An elderly man was brutally beaten to death late on Sunday night in Sangam Taylor Street, Mangala Gauri Mohalla of Vishnupad police station area of ​​Gayaji city.

The old man interrupted the youth playing mobile games in the street. This became time for him. The deceased has been identified as 56-year-old Arjun Manjhi alias Raj Mistry, who was a laborer by profession.

Rinki Kumari, daughter-in-law of the deceased, told that every day after 9 pm in the street of the locality, 5-6 youths used to make noise, abuse and consume drugs while playing mobile games.

The situation was the same on Sunday night at around 10 pm. Disturbed by the noise, Arjun Manjhi came out. Youths playing games on mobile were prohibited from doing such activities in the streets.

They allege that the youth first had an altercation and then beat the old man severely with sticks, hands and feet. His son, who came to his rescue, was also beaten. Seriously injured Arjun Manjhi was pushed into the drain. Later his relatives took him to Magadh Medical College and Hospital, where the doctor declared him brought dead.

On information, Vishnupad police station reached the spot. Police station head Parmanand Kumar Karna told that he had gone to stop the old man after he started making noise. There was a dispute regarding this.

He was murdered and thrown into a drain by youths who were playing games on mobile. He was taken to the Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Where he died. The body has been handed over to the relatives after post-mortem. The police station incharge said that Ankit Kumar and Badal Kumar have been arrested in this case. The search for others is ongoing.
